INSUREON IS A PROUD SPONSOR OF THE U.S. WOMEN'S NATIONAL HOCKEY TEAM
Insureon is a proud sponsor of USA Hockey and the Women's National Team. The five-year partnership is focused on helping USA Hockey promote youth hockey and specifically on supporting the US Women's National Team in their continued drive for excellence.
"The Women's National Team represents the best of the best in world athletics," said Ted Devine, Insureon's CEO. "More importantly, the team members are tremendous role models to thousands of youth hockey players and to the millions of small businesses across the United States led by women."
USA Hockey supports more than a million youth hockey members across the country. The US Women's National Team has won seven of the last nine World Championships, and won the silver medal at the 2014 Olympics.
More recently, the team's players worked, with support from US Hockey, to lead efforts at creating equal pay across sports.
"We’re excited to welcome Insureon to our corporate partner family," said Dave Ogrean, executive director of USA Hockey. "They have a remarkable success story and we look forward to a long and productive relationship.”
Insureon is the leading online small commercial insurance platform in the United States, having served more than 200,000 customers and producing $300 million of premium annually. "Thirty-six percent of the 40 million small businesses in the United States are led by women. We could not think of a better way to honor these amazing executives and support female leadership across the country than by supporting USA Hockey and the Women's National Team," Devine noted.
In addition to offering support for the US Women's National Team, the partnership marks the start of Insureon's Women's Leadership Initiative, an effort focused on helping women executives build their businesses, with an emphasis on equal pay and family leave efforts.
"Having two amazing daughters and having the opportunity for the last decade to coach girls' hockey has reinforced for me the importance of role models," Devine said. "Whether at the top level of sports or in the executive suite, seeing and supporting women's success is crucial to everyone's future."
